Asher is a Senior Consultant in the Governance team, providing invaluable insights to organisations on board appointments and board reviews. His expertise spans both the public and private sectors in Aotearoa, where he has successfully supported the appointment of Chairs, NEDs, and Trustees. Asher's thoughtful approach and strategic vision make him a trusted advisor in the realm of governance.

Before joining Kerridge and Partners, Asher managed large and intricate research projects at the Population Health School, Faculty of Medical and Health Sciences, University of Auckland. He has supported researchers in their collaboration with organisations such as The New Zealand Health Research Council, The Royal Society of New Zealand, The Ministry of Health, The Lancet Covid-19 Commission and NGOs such as Age Concern and Cure Kids.

Prior to that, Asher was a Research Advisor at Unitec Institute of Technology, focusing on Human Ethics. Asher additionally worked as a Research Assistance at with Ngā Wai ā te Tūī, The Centre for Māori and Indigenous Research.

Asher also holds a board observer role with Whakarongorau Aotearoa.
