Vision of Kerridge & Partners
Hours of animated discussion, creative debate, ideas from some of the brightest the organisation can muster adorn the walls of the conference room. Then the team set about sabotaging the content by trying to squeeze all this into a few words! When so much valuable content is lost, so is the energy and commitment of those charged with leading this vision in the organisation.
Kerridge & Partners looked for a better way – and implemented a process by which a team painted a picture of the future as a first step in a rigorous strategic planning process.
The ‘picture’ captures the real essence of our business - a vision which everyone can buy into.
It is rich in content. From a distance one can see the globe – our aspirations are global. As you get closer – a series of interconnected nodes come into view. These represent our growing connections and influence around the world. New offices, new alliances and new people. These represent the ‘vision of what’.
Each node also holds a piece of the vision, mostly the vision of how. The eye talks of leading the business with vision and foresight. The sun symbolises an optimistic view of the future. The handshake shows the partnership approach we enjoy with our clients and alliance relationships. The footprint in the sand represents just that: the positive legacy we aim to leave – the difference we will make to the leadership landscape of our planet. The scales signify an organisation which offers its employees balance in life. Each of the other nodes contains imagery which has meaning and represents the contribution of a team member.
Beyond the horizon lies the field of the unknown – and exciting future where we may expand in areas unanticipated at present!

The vision of what captures the aspirations of the Kerridge & Partners and answers the questions, ‘where are we heading?’ and 'how will we get there?'.
