Masterclass: Leadership in a Digital World
Following the success of our governance masterclass in April, we are delighted to announce that we are hosting Professor Amit Mukherjee from IMD, an expert in leadership and strategy, for a masterclass on 6 October 2017.
Professor Mukherjee’s research and teaching interests lie at the intersection of leadership, technology, strategy, and organisational effectiveness. He brings a depth of knowledge from his experience as an academic, entrepreneur, line executive, and consultant. Professor Mukherjee is a featured columnist for Sloan Management Review and his 2009 book, “The Spider’s Strategy”, explored the idea that today’s global companies compete as members of networks.
Led by Professor Mukherjee, this “Leadership in a Digital World” masterclass will focus on the profound impact digital technologies are having on organisations and leadership. Virtually every industry will be transformed by ‘disruption’, yet what individual companies do, how, and why, will change dramatically. He will draw on his extensive practical experience and provide a dynamic, engaging masterclass with plenty of opportunity for discussion. Professor Mukherjee will also be part of a panel of business leaders who will share their thoughts and experiences on the implications of digitalization on NZ leaders and organisations in the second part of the programme.
