Renisa Maki is a Consultant at Kerridge & Partners. Having studied Political Science and Art History at the University of Auckland, Renisa holds a Master of Arts degree (First Class) with a Faculty of Arts Masters Scholarship. She also earned a First Class Honours degree in Art History and Political Science, including publishing her academic research in journal articles and in two books on Political Marketing.

Originally launching her career in academia as a tutor and guest lecturer, Renisa transitioned to the arts and cultural sector. She completed curatorial projects and gallery placements at the Peggy Guggenheim Collection (Italy), Smithsonian National Portrait Gallery, White House Historical Association, Auckland Art Gallery and Te Tuhi Centre of the Arts. She progressed to a creative career in digital marketing at Castleford Media, specialising in content writing and SEO strategy for a diverse range of clients across the Asia-Pacific region.

Renisa joined the team at Kerridge & Partners in 2016 as an Associate Consultant, bringing her stellar researching skills, innovative thinking and warm stakeholder engagement approach to the executive search process. She has since led a number of search assignments in the GLAM sector with a focus on arts and cultural organisations, as well as led assignments more broadly in the public, private and non-profit sectors. She has particularly worked on local government searches and in the wider public sector, drawing on her studies in Political Science as context for the complex socio-political factors impacting the sector.
