A native of Scotland, Vikki joined Kerridge & Partners in 2006, and has earned a reputation for successful CEO, C suite and GM appointments, including several specialist and technical roles. She also plays an important role in identifying NXD Directors for listed and non-listed businesses.
Vikki has a keen eye for current and emerging talent. This, together with her trademark warmth, humour and sharp business mind, have led to a string of successful senior appointments in the energy, professional services, government (local and national), banking, manufacturing, retail and pharmaceutical sectors.
A prolific networker during her 30 years in executive search, Vikki uses her senior executive connections throughout Europe and Australasia to ensure a broad reach into top market talent.
Building on her career successes, in 2012 Vikki completed an intensive programme for executive search consultants at Cornell University in New York. This, she says, reinforced her belief that the Kerridge & Partners' approach to search in New Zealand is unique in the world of executive search globally. “The penny hasn’t dropped yet for most search firms that we are tasked with more than finding candidates with a certain skill set for a job.”
“When we talk about transforming the leadership landscape in New Zealand, we are really talking about allowing business access to the kind of leaders who can make a real difference. These are the leaders who enable New Zealand business to compete with the best.”
Vikki is a director of the CatWalk Spinal Cord Injury Trust. CatWalk's goal is to enable spinal cord injury sufferers to walk again. She also sits on the Board of Trustees for Look Good Feel Better, which provides ‘Feel Better’ classes to support any cancer patient with the visible side effects of cancer treatment.
