Our Opportunity:
RealNZ are seeking a Chief Customer & Sales Officer to inspire and drive the company’s revenue-generating strategy, driving sustainable commercial growth across their iconic brands and world class experiences.
A key member of the Executive Leadership Team, primarily accountable for revenue growth bringing together brand, sales, pricing, marketing, digital, and guest insights under one strategic vision.
This is a rare opportunity for a senior commercial leader who blends aspirational, purpose-led brand leadership with rigorous, data-driven commercial acumen—ensuring strong financial outcomes while strengthening brand equity and guest connection.
Your Key Responsibilities:
Own and deliver RealNZ’s enterprise-wide revenue growth, including revenue, yield, and margin performance
Define and execute the end-to-end revenue and go-to-market strategy across all channels (direct, trade, retail, digital)
Lead pricing and yield management to optimise demand, return, and margin
Drive growth in ancillary revenue, average guest spend and market share
Steward brand strategy, marketing, digital, and PR, ensuring strong brand equity and commercial ROI
Build and maintain high-value domestic and international sales and trade partnerships
Champion customer insight and data-led decision making commercial and strategic investment decisions
Provide clear commercial reporting and insight to the CEO, Executive Leadership Team and Board
Lead, develop, and inspire high-performing sales, marketing, retail, and insights teams
Role model RealNZ’s values and conservation purpose in all commercial, leadership, and stakeholder decisions.
About You:
You are a commercially astute, purpose-driven executive with a strong track record of leading revenue growth in complex, customer-facing organisations.
You will bring:
Proven C-suite or senior executive experience in multi-channel, customer-led businesses
Senior leadership experience across sales and/or marketing functions
Full P&L or major revenue-line accountability
Strong commercial, market, and customer analytics capability
Experience championing the guest voice at executive and board level
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
A collaborative leadership style aligned with purpose and values
A relevant tertiary qualification.
